Enjoy a special weekend meditation retreat immersing yourself in wisdom and clarity.

Taking Buddha’s timeless advice to heart enables us to
make the most of each and every day.

An hour and a half’s drive from Canberra is this tranquil place, with comfortable accommodation and a gorgeous garden with tennis court & swimming pool, nestled among rolling hills.

This meditation retreat will inspire us to make the most of each & every day – and bring ourself to a richly fulfilling happiness.

Relax and refresh...

Starting with an introduction on Friday evening, we will be guided in powerful meditations on Buddha’s quintessential wisdom by Resident Teacher, Buddhist nun Kelsang Dana.

Guided meditation retreat sessions will be one hour long,  and run between 9am and 6.30pm on Saturday, and also on Sunday morning, finishing with lunch.

There will be ample time to enjoy the place and facilities, relax and refresh – and your meals will be fully catered with our favourite home-cooked vegetarian & vegan recipes.

This gorgeous property is in Crooked Corner, one and a half hour’s drive from Canberra.

Accommodation is renovated Shearer’s Quarters, and we will be meditating in the rustic Wool Classer’s Hut (on chairs) and also in the stunning Edna Walling garden.

The Teacher

Kelsang Dana, the Resident Teacher of Bodhisattva Kadampa Buddhist Centre will guide this retreat. Dana is an Australian Buddhist nun and has been teaching Buddhist meditation for over 10 years. Through her joyful and loving aspect, she is able to communicate the essential points of meditation and Buddhism in a practical way that makes people feel confident, uplifted and encouraged.
