Discover powerful meditations for resilience and healing at this guided weekend meditation retreat on the shores of Lake George just outside Bungendore.
Only 40 minutes drive from Canberra is this peaceful refuge that feels a world away.

The meditations: Buddhist nun Kelsang Dana will guide us through the ancient healing meditation practice of Taking & Giving. We take away the suffering of ourself and others, and radiate love.
Accommodation: With comfortable heated rooms (single and twin), a sun-filled meditation room and a cosy lounge with fireplace, this is the perfect spot for a mid-winter retreat. You can also camp in the orchard, or just join us for the day on Saturday.
Timetable: Starting with an introduction on Friday evening, we will be guided in powerful meditations on Buddha’s quintessential wisdom by Resident Teacher, Buddhist nun Kelsang Dana.
Guided meditation retreat sessions will be one hour long, and run between 9am and 6.30pm on Saturday, and also on Sunday morning, finishing with lunch.
There will be ample time to enjoy the place, walk and relax – and your meals will be fully catered with our favourite home-cooked vegetarian & vegan recipes.

Where
This tranquil place is on the shores of Lake George and has been a place of refuge and for contemplation for decades.
Purpose-built retreat accommodation is single or twin rooms with shared bathrooms.
Or camp in the nearby orchard.
Seating is on chairs.
Cost
Single Room: $430 includes all meals & refreshments
Twin Room: $360 per person – includes all meals & refreshments
Camping: $230 includes all meals & refreshments
Saturday Only: $100 includes lunch & refreshments
The Teacher
Resident Teacher and Buddhist nun Kelsang Dana will guide this retreat. Dana has been teaching Buddhist meditation for 12 years. Through her joyful and loving aspect, she is able to communicate the essential points of meditation and Buddhism in a practical way that makes people feel confident, uplifted and encouraged.
