Enjoy deeply relaxing meditations on pure wisdom at this guided weekend meditation retreat on the shores of Lake George just outside Bungendore.
Only an hour’s drive from Canberra is this peaceful refuge that feels a world away.
The meditations: Buddhist nun Kelsang Dana will guide us through qualified meditations on emptiness. We will have the time to gently acquaint our mind with this deep truth of our life.
Accommodation: With comfortable air-conditioned rooms (single and twin) and a light-filled meditation room, this is the perfect spot for retreat. You can also camp in the orchard, or just join us for the day on Saturday.
Timetable: Starting with an introduction on Friday evening,there will be four meditation sessions on Saturday and two on Sunday.
Guided meditation retreat sessions will be one hour long, and run between 9am and 6.30pm on Saturday, and also on Sunday morning, finishing with lunch.
There will be ample time to enjoy the place, walk and relax – and your meals will be fully catered with our favourite home-cooked vegetarian & vegan recipes.

Where
This tranquil place is on the shores of Lake George and has been a place of refuge and for contemplation for decades.
Purpose-built retreat accommodation is single or twin rooms with shared bathrooms.
Resident Teacher and Buddhist nun Kelsang Dana will guide this retreat. Dana has been teaching Buddhist meditation for 12 years. Through her joyful and loving aspect, she is able to communicate the essential points of meditation and Buddhism in a practical way that makes people feel confident, uplifted and encouraged.
