We know that loss is an unavoidable part of living, yet the pain and grief of losing someone or something central to our life and identity can feel utterly unbearable.
At this workshop, we have an opportunity to be soothed and strengthened by Buddha’s key teachings and meditations on life, reality and our shared experiences of humanity.
Resident Teacher and Buddhist nun Kelsang Dana will guide us through meditations and teachings from Buddha that reveal the precise origin of the pain of grief and loss, and give us a way forward to healing and strength.
Everyone is welcome to attend this workshop. No prior experience is needed.
Kelsang Dana will teach this workshop. Dana is the Resident Teacher of Bodhisattva Kadampa Buddhist Centre in Canberra, and has been teaching Buddhist meditation for over 12 years. Through her joyful and loving aspect, she is able to communicate the essential points of meditation and Buddhism in a practical way that makes people feel confident, uplifted and encouraged.
