A good sleep is at the top of our wish list, yet our modern life makes it harder and harder to find. Sometimes the harder we try, the more a good sleep escapes us. We can find ourself lying awake, or waking up at 3am, with a restless, uncomfortable mind.

Meditation gives us reliable techniques to settle our mind so we can end each day with peace & clarity, and wake up refreshed.

This workshop will also give you techniques to subdue the troubling thoughts keeping you awake.

Through exploring Buddha’s teachings on the mind and its habits, we gain practical insights into the underlying causes of our restless mind – which give us the power to cut through it. 

Everyone is welcome to attend this workshop. No prior experience is needed.

The Teacher

Kelsang Dana will teach this workshop. Dana is the Resident Teacher of Bodhisattva Kadampa Buddhist Centre in Canberra, and has been teaching Buddhist meditation for over 12 years. Through her joyful and loving aspect, she is able to communicate the essential points of meditation and Buddhism in a practical way that makes people feel confident, uplifted and encouraged.
