of Happiness

Learn time-honoured methods for experiencing a lasting joy and happiness.

Workshop Description

Everyone of us wishes to be happy, to be free from frustration, worry and inner conflict. But no matter how hard we try, a lasting happiness remains elusive.

Buddha taught a scientific approach to finding happiness from within our mind. At this morning workshop, discover how to use meditation and mental strategies to increase your inner peace and joy.

Learn practical and effective meditations and ways of thinking – drawn from Buddha’s teachings – that will enable you to become happier, more content and comfortable in your life.

You'll learn how to:

  • Understand where your happiness really comes from
  • Find peace with your life and circumstances
  • Improve your relationships with friends and family
  • Find joy in daily life
  • Steer away from negativity in your mind

Held over two sessions with refreshments offered in the break for those attending in person, the workshop will include guided meditations, teachings and an opportunity to ask questions. Everyone is welcome to attend, regardless of experience. You will leave this workshop feeling uplifted and empowered to remain peaceful even when things go wrong.

The Teacher

The teacher of this workshop is Buddhist nun Kelsang Dana. Through her joyful and loving aspect, Dana is able to communicate the essential points of meditation and Buddhism in a way that makes people feel confident, uplifted and encouraged.
