The Peace of Patience

Sunday 29 May • 10am-1pm
In-Person & Online Workshop

When patience is present in our mind it is impossible for unhappy thoughts to gain a foothold.

Workshop Description

So much of our daily unhappiness comes from feeling agitated, irritated and annoyed. Sometimes these seeds of anger can turn into a painful resentment that we can carry with us for days, months or even years, preventing us from feeling truly at peace.

At this workshop, you will learn practical and effective meditations and ways of thinking – drawn from Buddha’s teachings – that will enable you to approach life’s challenges and conflicts with peace, poise and clarity.

You'll learn how to:

  • Reduce stress
  • Find more peace and happiness
  • Improve your relationships
  • Not be flustered when things go wrong
  • Develop inner resilience and strength

Held over two sessions with refreshments offered in the break for those attending in person, the workshop will include guided meditations, teachings and an opportunity to ask questions. Everyone is welcome to attend, regardless of experience. You will leave this workshop feeling uplifted and empowered to remain peaceful even when things go wrong.

The Teacher

The teacher of this workshop is Natalie Cella. A Buddhist practitioner and meditator for over 10 years, Natalie explains with warmth, good humour and sincerity how we can become happier through taking Buddha’s teachings to heart.
